These apocalyptic pop and folklore magnetico songs were written and recorded between June MMII and March MMIII in Barcelona, München, Salzburg, Sevilla and Wien. Sonne golthi-ade is a poem by the German mystic Friedrich Bernhard Marby from his book Die drei Schwäne. It is a part of the solar ritual in his stage play Das Erwachen im Walde. Als wärs das letzte Mal is a cover version of a famous song by Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, lyrics courtesy Gabi Delgado. Kehrst zurück nicht mehr was written by the Romanian writer Simion Lefter, translated by Hermann Roth. The text of Söhne der Sonne is taken from the book Hyperion by Friedrich Hölderlin. Sturmlied is a hymn by Ricarda Huch. Que is a poem by the Andalusian writer Juan Ramon Jimenez. Kamerad is a poem by the German warrior Herybert Menzel. Alle Lust will Ewigkeit is taken from Also sprach Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche. Goldner Lebenswein was published by Novalis in his Hymnen an die Nacht. Si tu duermes is inspired by some lines in the book Nos by the Chilenian poet Miguel Serrano. The cover of this double lp contains photographs taken by Gerhard and the solarisation Hands by Man Ray, 1932, taken from the book Man Ray, Edizioni Gabriele Mazzotta, Milano 1998.
