An Amazing Experimental – Noise – Power Electronics event!

Sutcliffe Jugend, Taylor and Tomkins began working together in 1981 as a side-project from the main extreme band, Whitehouse, and instantlygained notoriety as one of the harshest exponents of the original power electronics scene. The ferocity and sheer brutality of their recordings has seldom been equaled, either in terms of lyrical content or musical violence. Sporadic Sutcliffe Jugend releases appeared during the 80s and 90sIn 1993 Kevin and Paul formed the experimental rock group Bodychoke, under which four albums were released. In 1995 they decided to restart Sutcliffe Jügend. A series of acclaimed releases followed, resulting in their first ever live action in 2005 at the Labour club Red Rose presented by Gaya Donadio’s Hinoeuma events. The group continues to record and perform progressing and diversifying with each release and live event.SJ last show in Barcelona Spain saw a climatic ending in electronic beauty and a totally mesmerizing hypnotic soundscape utilizing electronic noise and live instruments Such as bowed and looped autoharp and guitars. A truly avant-garde project by two artists who refuse to project themselves into the ‘darling wasn’t the 1980’s wonderful’ scene.

Jean-Louis Costes is a noise musician, performance artist and film actor. He was once married to Lisa Crystal Carver with whom he performed in Suckdog. He helped write the backing music for the “noise opera” music of the Suckdog Circus. His albums include Hung by the Dick from Nihilist Records. Costes has been described as the French version of GG Allin, though unlike Allin’s rudimentary brand of hardcore punk, Costes’ music is largely synth-driven, relying heavily on looped beats, overmodulated vocals, and random outbursts of screaming and glitch fills.

He also appeared in the controversial film Irréversible (2002) and Life Pornography (2003). A few of his albums have been banned in France for obscenity[citation needed].

In 2004, he performed the Holy Virgin Cult show across the United States, scaring audiences with a barrage of apparent flung feces, urine, tortured screaming, public sex and religious flagellation. In 2007, Costes and Lisou Prout completed the “Les Petits Oiseaux Chient” (Little Birds Shit) tour across the United States and Canada.

Bizarre Uproar
One of the longest running Finnish harsh noise acts, the first releases being released in the early 90s. 15 years of obscure tape, cd and vinyl releases followed, including cooperations with projects like Bastard Noise, Grunt, Facialmess, Gelsomina, and labels like Freak Animal, Cipher, Musically Incorrect, New Noise & their own Filth & Violence.

Silent Abuse
Fallen Angel`s(AKA Mrs.Bizarre Uproar) Noise project SILENT ABUSE. First release split 7″ w/ANTIchildLEAGUE Also 7″s of her own, I have heard one track and have to say I surpiced positively! Filthy nasty stuff definitely. Unique I dare say. Will come out on US label. Would have been just perfect under mark of Filth&Violence, but no can do. Later perhaps something. She will continue doing performances occasionaly on BU live shows, but would like to be recognised as her own name. Like last BU live in Pori she planned and executed all by herself.BU noise, FA performance aktion.

She is working under name FALLEN ANGEL as a professional Domina on Finland`s (Scandinavian`s?) biggest S/M studio (or mansion!)
